Today’s second design inspiration is a series of photos called Urban Furniture. The images are actually compiled from photography and some CGI work. Each of the images show a person either mid-air or mid-action in an urban environment. Most of the shots look to be from a parkour photo shoot with the subjects being inverted and in unnatural body positions. On the project page, the designer actually shows some of the behind-the-scenes images of the CGI work that was done. I really like pieces that aren’t completely obvious how they’ve gotten the final composition and leaves the mind wondering how exactly something was done.
